The area is 9th St. to 12 St.--between Flordia Ave. and Maine Ave.

It was mentioned the master plan has a softball field on the East side and a soccer practice field on the North. (is this correct?)
The pasted in softball field is around 330 feet from the plate to the fence.
The soccer field is from one of the larger fields on the North side of town.

Person 1:
3A looks pretty good, descent mix of long and short. #4 looks really close to having discs go over the fence. 7 & 8 look close to having the players getting in each other's fairway which is only a problem with multiple groups on the course at the same time. If people will park cars closest to tee 2 renumber it to 1. Consider the number preferred flights routes such as hyzer vs anhyzer, and try to add some thumber and roller opportunities. Any room for a message board and practice basket? ... You're doing really good work here, thanks for the opportunity for us to chime in.
Person 2:
1) Bridges may be expensive. If you can walk around the creek at the street you may want to design the course to take advantage of that.
2) If a bridge is needed between 3A #7 & #8 then players will get frustrated. This could also slow play down.
3) Confirm the size and placement of the soccer field. It concerns me how close to the street you have it.
4) Don't throw at or over the soccer field. You want to be safe and able to play while they practice. *cough* Cozad, NE *cough*
5) Where do you want people to park? That will impact #1 and #9. on 3A you park on the west, and that has an advantage of not sharing street parking with the field house, softball, or soccer.
6) Use extra caution with personal residences in the park. They don't like golfers walking in their yard all the time.
7) I'd prefer to use the street as an out-of-bounds to force a straight throw.
8) If the field house has water, restrooms, sells discs... you may want to start and end there.
9) Is there a makeshift road parallel to 3A #6? If so, is there an existing bridge over the creek?
Thanks for all your hard work!

Person 1:
Really like your suggestions for the course so we can avoid the future construction. But was wanting to know if there if on the 9th hole if we can keep a circumference of 30 ft for a putting green, don't want to crowd the the tee off for 1 or be in the playing area of 8
Person 2:
I really like the newest course that was made, I would like to see about moving the hole for 9 moved back about 30 feet so we could add the putting green and keep people away form the busy York roads. As for tee's I don't know what we are doing for that, I was about to email Dr. Mountjoy about the specifics. In the long run I would really like to have multiple basket and tee locations, but that is beyond the current capabilities of this course. maybe in a few years.
Person 2:
Should include a putting green
What is meant by a "putting green" is, put markers in the ground such as bricks around the basket in a spiral going away from the basket. It would look kind of like this. I saw something like this at Max E. Roper Interstate park.
